Outreach in our community
Angel Shed provides high energy, fun and educational bespoke workshops in local primary and secondary schools. Our workshops are based around a theme (decided by the school) or a past production written by Angel Shed.
Our workshops focus around team-work, inclusion and aim to build confidence, develop group cohesion, listening skills, active participation and creativity.
We bring in a team of experienced staff to ensure all three art forms are represented (dance, drama and music) and that the participants get the support they need within the workshop.
Workshops are normally between 1-2 hours long but we create bespoke projects in collaboration with the school’s needs.
“Through group activities, singing & acting children developed huge range of invaluable skills for the 21st century. These include: focus, creativity, perseverance, teamwork, risk-taking & communication. All of these skills are developed through a style of learning that is inclusive and has laughter, enjoyment and fun at its very heart!"
