Lead Theatre Facilitator (Children's Theatre)
This is a Lead Facilitator role, leading in the planning and delivery of weekly Angel Shed sessions, stimulating and furthering performing arts skills through engaging and appropriate activities. We are looking for a motivated, dynamic, and committed facilitator to help shape the next stage of our company.
This is a freelance self-employed position at £18.75 per hour. 4hrs per week, Mondays 3.15-7.15pm (planning 3.15-5.00pm + delivery 5.00-7.15pm). Fixed-term part-time contract, January-July (term-time), with opportunity to extend.
Closing Date: Thursday 28th December 2023 (11.59pm).
Interviews: Tuesday 2nd and Wednesday 3rd January 2024.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to meet with Angel Shed staff and Youth Board representatives on the evening of Thursday 4th January 2024.
Start date: Monday 8th January 2024.

Assistant Theatre Facilitator (Youth Theatre 1 & 2)
This is a supporting role, assisting the workshop leaders with facilitation of weekly Angel Shed sessions. We are looking for a committed individual who is motivated to develop as a facilitator. Please note, formal training or qualifications are not required for this role. We are looking for someone who is passionate about inclusion, performing arts, and working with children and young people. Support and training will be provided to the successful applicant.
This is a freelance self-employed position at £14.50 per hour. 6 hrs per week, Thursdays 3.15-9.15pm (planning 3.15-5.00pm + delivery 5.00-9.15pm). Fixed-term part-time contract, January-July (term-time), with opportunity to extend.

Chair of Trustees
Angel Shed are looking for a passionate and confident leader to become the Chair of our Board as we enter our 20th anniversary year. We are excited about bringing together members, volunteers, staff and supporters past and present to celebrate 20 years of Angel Shed.
This position is a brilliant opportunity for an individual with a passion for inclusive practice and the performing arts, to work alongside our Artistic and Executive Director and the existing Board as we continue to grow our membership and expand our programmes. You will join us at an exciting time for the charity, with robust finances, a young and dynamic board and a creative artistic team, all driving the charity forward.
This is a very rewarding voluntary post for someone able to facilitate and manage meetings and to work as part of a team to ensure the effective governance of the charity.
Remuneration: The role of Chair is voluntary and is not a paid position. Expenses for reasonable costs, such as travel and care of dependants may be claimed.
Location: Angel Shed’s home is at City and Islington College, Islington, North London. All Board meetings are currently held here.
Time commitment: 6-9 board meetings per year, as required, with email contact and organisation between each. The Chair is also required to have regular meetings with the Artistic and Executive Director, and to represent the charity at various events and meetings.
Tenure: An initial 3-year term, with the option for re-election for up to two further terms.
