Great Minds Eat Alike

Presented by Youth Theatre 1

Welcome to a world where humans, vegetables, and animals live happily side by side, and everything is taken literally. When it rains cats and dogs, it really does rain cats and dogs. In the play there is an unusual town which is famous for its picture gallery, but everything will soon change when zombies from the Titanic suddenly arrive through a mysterious portal. After all, the grass is always greener on the other side… or is it? As the zombies try to settle into their new home (and start eating the locals’ potatoes), everyday life becomes anything but normal. After five years of attempting to get along, the town has finally had enough. Can everyone learn to live together, or will they find a way to return life to how it once was?

Performances: Tuesday 24th, Wednesday 25th & Thursday 26th March.

All performances are wheelchair accessible, BSL interpreted, contains creative captions and relaxed (the auditorium lights are kept on a low level, there will be no loud noises or flashing lights, and you are welcome to come and go as you please). There will be additional sensory resources (e.g. weighted blankets, fidget toys) for audience members to use during the performance. This production is suitable for all ages.
