DANCE COMPANY
As a member of Angel Shed Dance Company you will develop your movement skills and explore different styles of choreography and dance performance.
Our highly experienced and trained staff and volunteer team deliver high-quality artistic work while providing the most appropriate support for each participant.
We provide a safe place for our members to express themselves, develop confidence, and grow into curious, creative and courageous young people.
Through weekly rehearsals, we will work as a group to create an original piece of dance theatre to be shown at the end of each term. With devising and sharing ideas at the heart of all sessions, we encourage our members to support one another in rehearsals through to performances. We are led by the ideas of our members and they are active participants in the planning, creation, and performance of our work - sharing and exploring the stories, issues and topics that are relevant to them.
There will be opportunities each term to showcase work both at Angel Shed and other London venues.

Membership is pay-what-you can, with free places available.
No prior dance experience is necessary to become a member of the Dance Company.
Angel Shed can offer support for young people's next steps in employment, education or training - including references, experience for D of E awards, and volunteering opportunities (with DBS checks and training).

Date: Mondays 7.30-8.45pm
